Recharge your batteries and continue to achieve key objectives together.
As we are in the midst of a busy APS season, I congratulate all personnel who have recently begun new phases of their lives, both leaving and joining the Defence Team. I look forward to seeing new teams work together to achieve key objectives here at CFB Kingston. I particularly want to welcome Colonel Sonny Hatton as the new Base Commander, who will be on the ground in late August.
With July 1st being Canada Day, I would like to reaffirm how grateful the base is for such strong and determined personnel across our 46 different lodger units. Take the time this month to appreciate your achievements, as well as the country that we hold close to our hearts.
July will be a busy and hot month, so make sure to stay hydrated and healthy. Be sure to take advantage of the many activities on base such as PSP outdoor equipment rentals, which can be rented at https://personnel-support-programs.myshopify.com/. The Arrowhead beach is our little oasis that is for our Defence Team members and their families. This is the time to recharge your batteries and spend some quality time with your families.
Thank you to all Kingston Defence Team members for their continuing hard work; our successes would not be possible without each and every member of the team.
