Broken? Let Us Know: CFB Kingston’s Base Gym Fitness Asset Manager

If you have visited the Base Gym lately you may have noticed there are QR coded stickers located on the fitness training equipment. These codes are tied to an internal system called the ‘Fitness Asset Manager’. This system is designed to improve customer service by directly allowing customers to report problems in real time. When you take a picture of the QR code with your cellular device, for example, it tags it to a work order that records an equipment issue which is tracked internally for our staff to service and repair. The steps required to assist with this internal maintenance and equipment upkeep are:

– Find or download the QR Reader App.
– Take a picture of the QR code found on the machine you are having a problem with.
– The “Fitness Asset Manager” page will pop up.
– You will see “Report a problem”.
– In the box provided below, type in the problem or concern you have with that particular piece of
equipment.
– When done, press the “Send Report” button.
– A message will pop up saying “Your problem report has been saved. Thank you.”

Of course, if you do not have a device available to assist with this reporting process, you may report concerns
to a member of our staff and they will be happy to submit the service request. Some of our newer equipment
may not have a QR code; it will shortly.

Thank you for helping to keep the Base Gym equipment in excellent working condition!
