CFB Kingston’s National Defence Workplace Charitable Campaign (NDWCC) has met its ambitious overall goal with 100% of our target raised! This is a huge improvement over the previous year. We also remain the top performing base in the Ontario region by a large margin. A huge thank you to all volunteers and contributors. This campaign could not have succeeded without all the lodger unit’s hard work and efforts. On that note, we’d like to recognize our first ever CFB Kingston Unit Charitable Campaign Competition large and small unit champions: Canadian Defence Academy (CDA) and the Influence Activities Task Force (IATF). Your outstanding unit campaigns significantly contributed to CFB Kingston’s overall effort, and brought great credit to your organizations.
We’d also like to recognize our MEGA-RAFFLE winner from 33 CF Health Service Center, who took home the grand prize of $3,805.00, and will no doubt have a very happy holiday this year! Again a huge thank you to all participants, volunteers, and contributors from the entire CFB Kingston Team. Your efforts have helped numerous individuals in the KFL&A community, and demonstrate our value and service as outstanding community leaders and partners.
Despite the fact the campaign has officially closed, you can donate to the United Way and help our local community year round.
