All Residents from the City of Kingston and Frontenac County seeking childcare services (including before and after school care) must register with the Kingston Centralized Childcare Registry. The registry allows parents and/or caregivers to place their names on the waitlist of multiple agencies; parents are no longer required to contact each agency to be added to their waitlist. The childcare agency will contact you when a space becomes available.
Military families that choose to register their child with Les Petits Amis Childcare Centre (LPA) must register with the Kingston Centralized Childcare Registry.
Military families are LPA’s first priority. Please indicate ‘military family’ in the comment section on the application.
We encourage you to register with the Kingston Centralized Childcare Registry as soon as possible. You can use your actual home address if you want to register before you arrive in Kingston. Please don’t forget to modify your personal contact information (home address, phone number) when you have a permanent address in Kingston’s area.
Once registration has been completed, your account must be active in order to keep your position on the waitlist. If accounts are inactive for one month, the account will be deactivated. Please ensure that you log in monthly to keep your account active, or you will have to reapply.
