Were you able to check out any KMFRC activities for families, children or youth this summer?
One of the programs offered was our first Family Geocache Expedition. Several CAF families, with children of various ages, joined in the fun during the last week of July. The caches suited three summery themes: fun and puns, water, and sports. Each registered family was given a participation pack, which included a mini magnifier, game and scavenger hunt ideas, temporary dandelion tattoos, and a bullet journal. Families who took part in the Geocache Expedition said that they’d like the event to return next year, with even more treasures to locate!
Here’s one of our happy geocachers, after finding seashells and a unicorn.
