Grow, Connect, Thrive: Join the KMFRC Community Garden!

Want to save on groceries, support your well-being, and grow your own fresh food? The KMFRC Community Garden is the perfect place for military and veteran families to grow their own food, connect with others, and thrive in a supportive community.

Growing your own food has incredible benefits:

  • Saves money on groceries and supports food security
  • Provides fresh, nutritious produce for your family
  • Boosts mental health by reducing stress and promoting relaxation
  • Creates a sense of accomplishment as you nurture your own plants

Running from May to October, this shared space provides tools, water access, and guidance to help participants cultivate fresh produce and enjoy the benefits of gardening.

Kick off the season with us on May 3 at the Garden Prep + Lunch Day! Enjoy a free lunch, connect with fellow gardeners, and get hands-on as we prepare the garden for a thriving season ahead. Returning gardeners will receive an email from kmfrc@kmfrc.com prompting them to confirm if they wish to reclaim their plots. New gardeners can register starting April 10 on kmfrc.com. Simply visit the Events & Activities Calendar and sign up for “KMFRC Community Garden: Garden Prep + Lunch Day.”

Registration opens April 10, 2025—spots are limited!
