The leaves may be changing colour and the air may be getting crisp at night but the growing season is just kicking off in the Base Gym!
The Health Promotion Tower Garden program has been added to 2 units this past summer.
CADTC HQ and PSTC have grown, harvested and enjoyed their produce with Unit lunches, pesto demos with Pizza lunch, BBQs and smoothie pop-ups.
Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to bring your team together around fresh food!

Here is what the members at PSTC had to say about their Tower Garden:
I thought this was a great initiative and got a lot of people interested in growing vegetables or researching a similar unit for their house/office. People from other bases are going to ask their PSP staff to get these as well.
Sgt Nyman, PSTC
It was deceptively exciting watching the Tower Garden bloom! The greens that we harvested from the tower were a welcome addition to box lunch sandwiches! Great initiative through Health Promotion!
MCpl Edward Snoek, PSTC
At first, I thought the TG was too bright and annoying. However, the fresh greens it produced and conversations it sparked changed my tune. Fresh greens on box lunch sandwiches is a game changer.
Lt Ward PSTC
