KMFRC – June is Pride Month!

Pride is a celebration of people coming together in love and friendship, to show how far 2SLGBTQI+ rights have come, and how in some places there’s still work to be done. Pride month is about acceptance, equality, celebrating the work of 2SLGBTQI+ people, education in 2SLGBTQI+ history and raising awareness of issues affecting the 2SLGBTQI+ community. It also calls for people to remember how damaging homophobia was and still can be.

Pride is all about being proud of who you are no matter who you love. During the month of June, stop by the main lobby of the KMFRC and take a bag filled with 2SLGBTQI+ community resources. If you have any questions or are looking for additional 613-541-5010 Ext. 3296 Heather.Brace@kmfrc.com
