- Family Information Line (FIL) is available to you 24/7 offering immediate and confidential bilingual emotional support, referrals, and information for CAF families and their extended family members. To contact the FIL please call 1-800-866-4546
- CF Member Assistance Program (CFMAP) provides immediate and confidential 24/7 bilingual counselling services for CAF members and their dependents. To contact CFMAP please call 1-800-268-7708
- Crisis Text Line powered by Kids Help Phone – Children, youth and young adults from military families can access free mental health and well-being support by texting the keyword CAFKIDS at 686868 for service in English en français en textant le mot-clé JEUNESFAC au 686868. The Crisis Text Line powered by Kids Help Phone is confidential and available day or night.
Short-Term Counselling
The KMFRC provides Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) families, including the ill and injured with confidential, short-term clinical counselling. Sessions are solution-focused and are often most effective when families access this service when challenges are first identified. Longer term counselling is also available through KMFRC’s Community Resource Connection Program generously funded by United Way.

If a crisis occurs, the KMFRC is here to help connect you to resources, whether it be support available to military families or resources to help you with your personal well-being.

Hold Me Tight®- Developed by Dr. Sue Johnson, this online program can be done at home at your own pace and helps couples:
- Improve their relationship by strengthening their bond
- Better resolve conflicts and solve problems around common issues like financial difficulties or parenting
