Sharing on behalf of the community – The KMFRC will be a host location for an upcoming DND Funded Transcendental Meditation Program for Veterans. This training is offered though the Canadian Women’s Wellness Foundation with funding received from VAC’s Veteran and Family Well-Being Fund.

What is Transcendental Meditation?

TM is a simple, natural and effective technique that is easy-to-learn and practice. When done regularly it has been shown to bring about improvements in: Post-Traumatic Stress • Anxiety • High Blood Pressure • Depression • Insomnia • Pain • Alcohol / Drug Misuse • Resilience/Peak Performance • Energy • Focus

The 4-day course and follow-up program are offered in private by trained and experienced teachers. Results can be experienced right from the beginning.

The TM course will be offered at the KMFRC, Monday -Thursday, about 1.5-2 hours/day – September 25-28
