Learn how to Navigate Through Grief During the Holidays

Grief can be challenging to cope with on the best of days with its strong emotions and/or physical symptoms. Yet, around this time of year when the days are dark, our loved ones are gone, and we’re asked to be “merry and bright,” our grief can become entirely overwhelming. Join Aly Bird at the KMFRC on 12 December 2023, from 1800-1930, to learn how to navigate through grief during the holidays.

In her presentation, participants:

  • Will gain a better understanding of what grief is and how it affects our brains, bodies, and ways of existing in the world
  • Will leave with tools that they can use to help themselves cope
  • Receive guidance on how to show up for others when they have the energy

This event is open to the CAF community. CAF community refers to Regular, Reserve, Retired military members and family members, as well as DND civilian staff and their families.
