Medical – Educational Binder Workshop

The KMFRC, located at 32 Lundy’s Lane, will host a free, in-person Build a Binder workshop January 25th, 2023, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. This workshop is open to military and veteran families, and we ask that all attendees be 18 or older. The Build a Binder workshop is designed to ensure all relevant educational and/or medical documents are organized and accessible. We recognize how challenging it can be for military families to keep these resources in a designated location, allowing all caregivers to easily locate or file information during relocations, absences, and transitions. This binder will help set you up for success by creating an organized system to keep documents accessible during transitions between schools and/or health care providers, or when a family member has a new/ongoing medical diagnosis or educational need. When you attend this workshop, you will be supplied with all the necessary materials to set up your binder, which can be customized with sections that are specific to your needs.
