Museum Happenings July 2018

Well summer is here and the new Camp X exhibit is open. See our cool spy exhibit and then play Camp X Improbable Escape at the Military C&E Museum. It is a lot of fun to see if you have what it takes to save the free world! Suitable for adults and children. The Camp X Improbable Escape is $12.00 per person, free with a valid K-Pass.

Spying not your thing? Well this month the museum features our free music series. On Sunday July 15th it is Kevin and the Kitchen Sink from 1:00-3:00pm. Hopelessly addicted to 80’s music, Kevin and the Kitchen Sink have been working together since 2017 and in that time have performed at the Grand Theatre, the Tir Nan Og, Robbie Burns night at the PWOR and are now regulars at Riverhead Brewing Company in Kingston. http://musicfly.ca/kingston/artist/kevin-the-kitchen-sink/

The museum welcomes Fiddle Earth on July 29th for a Sunday afternoon show. Fiddle Earth is a unique musical troupe hailing from Kingston, Ontario. Playing classical, fiddle, folk, country and religious music, Fiddle Earth brings all these elements together to create a highly versatile group. Well versed in Celtic, country, folk and old-time music, Fiddle Earth will make you stomp your feet and dance a reel to music full of liveliness and joy. https://fiddleearth.weebly.com/

The Military Communications and Electronics Museum is open 7 days a week during the summer from 11:00am-5:00pm. Admission is by donation.
