Museum Happenings October 2018

Mark your calendars! The Military Communications and Electronics Museum is proud to work with Conductor John Robertson to host an amazing night of classical music at the The Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts on October 27, 2018. Tickets are $37.00 per person. Listen to an evening of beautiful music in Kingston’s newest concert venue and help support the museum!

Camp X Improbable Escape is still going strong at the Military C&E Museum! Welcome to Camp X, a secret school created with the sole purpose of training elite covert agents during World War II. We provide the trench coat, you supply the brains! Use the tools in your trench coat to decode messages, sleuth through the museum, and uncover mysteries of the past to discover a secret code word. Perfect for team building or competitions! Suitable for adults or children. Admission $12.00 per person, free with a valid K-Pass. From June 7 2018-June 30, 2019.

Spying not your thing? How about flying a Sopwith Camel? The museum is hosting the Ace Academy Flight Experience travelling exhibit! Players have a chance to fly a biplane virtually using their body to maneuver the plane on screen. Wheelchair friendly! You can also play Ace Academy and Ace Academy: Black Flight at home for free by downloading the app on the App Store and Google Play.

The last week of October is C&E week. Don’t be surprised when you see lots of members of the C&E Branch visiting the museum and checking out all of the new exhibits.

Finally, who can forget Halloween! Come by the museum with your ghost or ghoulie and we’ll provide the treat. We are open until 5pm.

The Military Communications and Electronics Museum is open 5 days a week during October Monday to Friday 11:00am-5:00pm. Admission is by donation.
