We all face difficult situations in our lives, but when those experiences are traumatizing, they often have a lasting impact. They leave a mark.
Navigating Healing and Finding Centre (NHFC) is an 8-week program that exists to support individuals who have been impacted by trauma, be it recent or in the distant past, yet having a present impact on our health. We discuss the impacts traumas have on our nervous system, physiology, world view and relationships, and how we can use proven techniques such as iRest Meditation, Breathwork, Yoga and Diet, to increase our ability to tolerate our experiences and our capacity to heal.
Due to demand, we have broadened our focus to invite anyone impacted by trauma, not only inclusive of OSI. Priority is given to medically releasing/released members and their families, however if space allows, we are happy to include anyone in the CAF community.
Starting April 24th, and every Thursday evening from 5:00pm to 7:30pm, we meet with the KMFRC.
