Did you know that the Military Family Navigators can provide support to parents at school IEP and special needs meetings? Military Family Navigators have a wealth of knowledge regarding special needs and understand the purpose of an IEP and how they are created to best support your child. Our Navigators can take notes on your behalf while you engage in conversation with your child’s support team, be a second set of ears, and address potential funding options to help with the costs associated with assessments, certain assistive devices, and therapeutic services. To speak with one of our Military Family Navigators, please call the KMFRC at (613) 541-5010, ext. 5195.
