Park bathrooms are open daily from 8am to dusk from Victoria Day to Thanksgiving. The newly renovated park is now home to the Gord Edgar Downie Pier and pedestrian bridge. Whether you are just looking to stroll the waterfront path or enjoy the pebble and sand beaches, Breakwater Park has something to offer for the whole family. Enjoy the views of Wolfe Island, the Kingston Waterfront, and the St. Lawrence River at the accessible beach. The park is also home to picnic tables, benches, and public BBQs. The K&P Trial

Although the K&P Trial is open year round, the spring and summer are an amazing time to enjoy Northern Kingston and the Frontenac region by bike with your family. Pack up your bikes and head out for the day to take in the 7km paved trail with your family or the more rural 15km gravel trail.
