Two members of CFB Kingston to attempt 3000 pull-ups in support of Soldier On

Officer Cadet Liam Chambers and Naval Cadet Joel Charpentier will attempt 3000 pull-ups in the span of 24 hours in support of Soldier On. Between 8 a.m. on February 17 and 18, the two Royal Military College students will be testing their physical and mental strength to raise funds to support ill and injured Canadian Armed Forces members and veterans.

While their initial plan is to complete the pull-ups at the Kingston Military Community Sports Centre, the two have developed contingency plans in case of pandemic restrictions. The pair will live stream their pull-ups either together from one of their personal residences (if social bubbles are allowed), otherwise they will complete the challenge each at their respective homes.

As the pandemic has forced us inside and limited our exposure to those outside our homes, the two RMC students are encouraging people to consider those who still need our support. 100% of donations to their “3000 On the Bar 2021” campaign will go to Soldier On.

Updates on their challenge will be on the Soldier On and RMC Paladins Athletics Facebook pages, and donations can be made here: https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?name=e920249qe&id=149
