From November 5-11—Veterans’ Week—we honour those who have served Canada, past and present, in times of war, military conflict and peace. This year’s theme is the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. Take some time to read about the key milestones and battles that led to the conclusion of the major conflict, an important part of Canada’s rich military history.
The National Veterans’ Week Speakers Program provides an opportunity for Canadians to connect with active members of their military, to learn about historic events, and to better understand how Canadians continue to contribute domestically and on the international stage.
