National Volunteer Week | April 14 – 20, 2024 | Every Moment Matters
The Kingston Military Family Resource Centre (KMFRC) and Personnel Support Programs (PSP) would like to recognize and celebrate every volunteer and each contribution they’ve made to strengthen inclusivity and wellbeing within the CFB Kingston community. “Now more than ever, Every Moment Matters!”.
“The theme for National Volunteer Week 2024 is Every Moment Matters. It highlights the importance of every volunteer and each contribution they make at a moment when we need support more than ever. The sharing of time, skills, empathy, and creativity is vital to the inclusivity, strength, and wellbeing of our communities.”
This year on April 17th, the KMFRC and PSP will host the annual Volunteer Appreciation Event for all our amazing and valuable volunteers who contributed their time and skills throughout April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024. We are going to come together at the Garrison Lanes bowling alley where we will recognize the efforts and impact made, enjoy some delicious food catered by Mucho Burrito and Bowling Bingo!
