The Personnel Support Programs is pleased to offer CFB Kingston Defence Team members and Base Gym cardholders winter activity trails this 2023 season including classic and skate cross-country skiing on mechanically groomed trails, fat biking, and snowshoeing.
Equipment Rental and Rec Pass
Defence Team members and Base Gym cardholders may use their personal equipment or have access to the Outdoor Equipment Rentals through the Base Gym Sport Store at https://personnel-support-programs.myshopify.com/.
If you do not have a Base Gym Membership and wish to purchase one, you can register and view the pricing list here. Please contact the Base Gym front desk during operational hours for more information.

The winter trails at the Garrison Golf and Curling Club are for the use of Defence Team Members and Base Gym cardholders only. Access is restricted to all others.
Trail User Information
- These trails are unsupervised. You are responsible for your own safety.
- Stay only along marked routes. Do not take shortcuts.
- Let family and friends know your plans.
- Consult the daily trail condition update on this site or on social media. Trails may not be safe during inclement weather conditions due to high winds, snow, falling branches, debris, etc. Be aware of changing trail conditions.
- Leave the trail cleaner than you found it. Dispose of any litter you may find.
- Ensure that you always have your ID (Military ID or Base Gym Membership) as you may be asked to show proof of identification.
