Dear Members of Our Community,
I am pleased to share with you that an agreement has been reached between the Union of National Defence Employees (UNDE)/PSAC and the Staff of Non-Public Funds, Canadian Forces from Kingston, Petawawa, and Ottawa/HQ. On April 22, our employees began returning to work progressively.
We understand the challenges that the past months have brought to our Canadian Armed Forces in these locations, and we recognize the frustrations and disruptions this has caused.
First, I would like to thank each of you for your patience, understanding, and resilience throughout this period and express my regret if you were inconvenienced in any way.
As we transition back to a more normal operational rhythm and resume our programming and services, we are fully committed to regaining the trust and respect of our community. We have comprehensive strategies in place to address these important objectives.
My leadership team and I are committed to ensuring that every member of our Canadian Armed Forces community continues to receive the highest level of support across all our services and programs of their lives. Whether it is their physical, mental, social, familial, or financial well-being, we pledge to keep these priorities at the forefront of the services and programs we provide. Our unwavering goal remains to Serve Those Who Serve, and we are committed to delivering on this promise.
We will work tirelessly to rebuild the trust in our services and to demonstrate the value we bring in supporting the operational effectiveness of the Canadian Armed Forces.
With utmost respect and warm regards,
Ian Poulter CEO, CFMWS
