We all know that the military lifestyle is unique and can be challenging. That’s why it’s important to have a support network to help you through the ups and downs of it. If you are new to Kingston and are looking for ways to connect and meet new friends, the KMFRC can offer you a great way to connect with these different activities in September:
Open House at the KMFRC
On September 13th visit the KMFRC for an Open House from 1600 to 1800 to meet the team, gather information and learn about services offered. Light refreshments will be provided in partnership with Together We Stand and Tim Hortons in honour of Military Family Appreciation Day (MFAD) coming up on Friday, September 15th! Grab your special passport at the KMFRC front desk and participate in an interactive scavenger hunt for a chance to win prizes. Everybody is welcome to join us at 32 Lundy’s Lane and explore the new KMFRC Community Hub.
Annual General Meeting (AGM)
The KMFRC Annual General Meeting (AGM) will follow the Open House at 1800, and child care will be provided for this portion. Registration for the AGM and for child care is required as a lasagna dinner will be provided to those attending the AGM. Find the KMFRC proposed-revised bylaws online at: KMFRC 2023 Bylaws EN (cfmws.ca)
