The International Day of Persons with Disabilities: Sign up for the Wheelchair Rugby Game

The International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) will take place 03 December 2022. The day aims to promote the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities in all spheres of society and development, to increase awareness of disability issues, and to mobilize support for the dignity, rights, integration and inclusion of persons with disabilities in every aspect of the political, social, economic and cultural life of their communities.

A wheelchair rugby game will be held at CFB Kingston in order to raise this awareness. PSP Kingston invites you to come out and play on 02 December 2022!

This event is only open to CAF members. Please use this link to sign up for the wheelchair rugby game. Due to limited amount of positions (20 players total), only those who sign up may participate in the game. Spectators are always more than welcome.

All participants are asked to arrive at the KMCSC field house for 0930hrs on 02 December 2022, wearing appropriate PT attire. Participants will receive a wheelchair rugby familiarization by staff, before participating in a 30-minute game. Following the game, in an open forum, participating members will share their experiences.

The event will conclude NLT 1300hrs.
