Join the Relocation Binder Workshop

KMFRC-Binder-Workshop

Are you being posted in 2024? If so, the KMFRC, will be hosting an in-person Relocation – Build a Binder workshop just for you! The 1.5-hour workshop will be hosted on Monday, March 25th, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and offered again on Monday May 6th, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the KMFRC’s Community Hub at 32 Lundy’s Lane.

The Relocation Build a Binder workshop is designed to ensure all relevant relocation documents are organized and accessible to help your relocation go as smoothly as possible. We recognize how challenging it can be for military families to keep these documents and resources in a designated location, and this binder will function as a tool to easily file and retrieve information during your relocation, including but not limited to relocation checklists, real estate documents, travel documents, and receipts. When you attend this workshop, you will be provided with all the necessary materials to set up your binder and the opportunity to customize your binder with sections that are specific to your relocation. This workshop is open to military families with an upcoming posting, and the fee to participate is $5.00; we ask as well that all attendees are 18 years or older. Space is limited, so register early! For more information, please call the KMFRC Information Services Assistant team at (613) 541-5010, ext. 5195.
